According to two studies under the frozen heart of Pluto lies an ocean. According to the first study the heart is placed in the reign of Pluto called “Sputnik Planitia”. The ocean could possibly explain why "Sputnik Planitia" always faces Pluto's moon Charon. According to the second studies there is ice build up over millions of year in "Sputnik Planitia" with has so much mass that it put Pluto on its side. The ice found on Pluto is a form of ice called ice2 which is 25 times denser the normal ice. It is formed by low temp and high pressure.
